|Voluntary Arrangements| |Debt Consolidation| |Bottom|

Although bankruptcy has a bad stigma and is publicly advertise, it should never be dismissed, as it is sometimes the only way out of a bad situation. Unfortunately it is somewhat over-advised by the insolvency profession, possibly because of the much larger fees to be gained.

Before going down this route we strongly advise a second opinion as the impact of bankruptcy can last for years.

In Brief

  • Bankruptcies are advertised in the national newspaper.
  • You assets will be owned by the Trustee, not you.
  • You have no say in the distribution or retention of your assets.
  • Bankruptcy is often an ill-advised, expensive solution.
  • Arrangements can be far more effective with little disruption and are not advertised.
  • Rule out Arrangements before considering Bankruptcy.
